What is Cogmed?

Cogmed is a working memory training program for children, adolescents and adults who display Dyslexia, ADHD, executive functioning weaknesses, poor organization and planning skills, and other issues. Cogmed is primarily a perceptually based program.

Dan Plotkin and Dr. Katz have been trained and are certified Cogmed Coaches. This is a home-based therapy program and is completed on the internet. It is a five week program and takes 30-40 minutes each day to complete.

We will monitor your progress on line and include regular coaching by phone. To determine if the program is appropriate for you, you can call for an initial free consultation.

We will review any prior testing completed within the last 2 years. If there is no testing available, Dr. Katz will conduct a minimum screening to determine if Cogmed would be appropriate. Please see our link to the Cogmed Program and all its uses: cogmed.com
